INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn -- Crisscrossing the state in a small plane as he resumed his campaign Wednesday, Republican senatorial candidate Norm Coleman emphasized his youthful vigor as he prepares to take on former vice president Walter Mondale.
Coleman came charging out of the box, taking a 6:15 a.m. flight to this city on the Canadian border, and then making his way through snow showers to rally supporters at Barney's Family Restaurant.

If any conservative is as outraged as I am over the Wellstone Memorial/Mondale Pep Rally, I challenge all conservatives nationwide to make a modest contribution to the Coleman for Senate campaign at www.colemanforsenate.com . Let's show the liberals that we will fight them tooth and nail for control of the U.S. Senate. Let's roll!

I am thinking that with the absentee situtation and all we should wait until dec or jan for this election.
Let mondale have all the votes count and have several debates.
Once the sympathy bounce is over coleman will have a chance.

I disagree- now is the time to strike. The Democrats are reeling, and that sham of a memorial did not help them at all.
No mercy. No surrender.

``I'm just thinking younger is better,'' she said. This is really a pretty favorable article. The media usually go out of their way to massage the Dems and slam the Republicans with their man-in-the-street quotes.
I like Coleman's comparison of Mondale to Mount Rushmore, too. On the surface, it sounds like respectful praise, but actually it suggests that he's old, dead, and turned into stone.

Folks, I fear we are going to see many contests decided in the courts, rather than at the ballot box.
The die was cast with the 2000 Florida debacle.
You will see the Rats stop at nothing to try and steal each and every close race.
Only if the people get fed up with this strategy, after seeing one party employing it over and over, will it stop.
Right now, most people seem not to care. Florida, New Jersey and now in Minnesota.
If Talent wins, expect a legal challenge to prevent him taking his seat before January.

Don't know about you, but I will be standing outside of my voting place with a video camera.
It does not even matter if there are no batteries in it. Voter faud is a Felony, and simply having a camera around will make people thing twice.
Now who ever said that the Republicans can not fight in the courts also? Seems to me, Bush held his own just fine, the last time they tried this.

Yes, you're right about Bush, however the law was trampled in NJ by a hack Supreme Court, and the Dems are already petitioning the courts in Minnesota for the right to count votes cast for Wellstone, as votes for Mondale, in direct contravention of the state election laws.
Who says they won't prevail there and elsewhere?
After 30+ years of liberal indoctrination, many Americans choose some misguided concept of "fairness" over the rule of law.
I hear it over and over, to the point that I now despise the very word "fair".
It's become the liberal's buzzword to justify every subversion of individual rights and the rule of law.
