Mr.S, I recieved the new application Friday the 25th. It had to be returned by the following Tuesday, and mailed back {to me} by the next Tuesday all by the USPS. IF I "received" an absentee ballot, it would be illegal to vote in the polls. I didn't return the application, and will be crawling {if necessary} to the polling booth on Tuesday. Aggravating!! Don't know if you're being serious about having difficulty getting to the polls or just making a point here, but if you or anyone you know *will* have difficulty getting to the polls, you *SHOULD* be able to contact your county GOP headquarters and ask them to help you get to the polls. If anyone tries this and has no success, please let me know, as I want to document it.
