Is FR under DoS attack? The problem with slow access has been there for several days. It starts around 11:00 AM EST and goes away around mid-afternoon. I am suspicious that there are sinister things going on. Drudge doesn't seem to have any problems.

I've noticed that too - and during the day I access via a T1; there's no reason that it should be this slow. At night come in via Cable, and I don't have anywhere near this kind of problem.

I've been on cable all day. It is sloooooooow. It's been this way for the past several days. Is it a full moon?

My DSL connection speed has been consistantly at 548 kbps. (which is decent for the connection tier that I pay for). FR is the only website that I'm having trouble connecting to. I suspect it's a high volume of traffic to FR and possibly bandwidth hogging from some anti-freepers.
