You're experiencing the problem of high-income, well-educated women: you want a man who is at least as capable as you, but you're at the extreme end of the bell curve, and there aren't too many guys at that altitude with you. Men have it easier: we'll go with women who make much less than us and are less well-educated. This means our selection-space is much bigger. A professional man will date a supermarket checkout-clerk, if she's cute, but a professional woman is less likely to.
