hell, prior to 9-11 I always wore steel-toed boots and carried my 3.5" drop-point folder by GT Knives (gratuitous plug: GT makes the best folding knife I have ever owned, worth every penny of the $135 price) whenever I got on a plane. I'm not saying I could have stopped a terrorist armed with a box-cutter, but I am quite certain I would have given him a hard time. Nowadays? Sheesh. I have to put my folder in my checked luggage and wear friggin' slippers if I want to make my flight.
Let all CCW permit holders carry on flights -with low velocity friable ammo- and let's see how many planes get jacked then.
