That's my point. Free Republic is a public forum and by being such is subject to having the public post some pretty weird/radical/politically incorrect stuff. Just by allowing a member of the public to post something that may have originated from another website that may or may not have a vague association with a person of questionable integrity does not mean that the public forum is "associating" in any way with the person of questionable integrity. Allowing non-racist posts which may originate from American Patrol does not mean that Jim Robinson has anything to do with American Patrol, its leader or board of directors, people that its leader has had on his "radio show" years ago, or people who have a vague association with its leader.
And that's why JimRob has posting guidelines - so he can toss the stuff he finds objectionable. If you think that's a bad idea, go over to LibertyForum and check out the vile nature of the posters who have crawled out from under their rocks because the proprietors there have tried a no-ban policy.
