I recall reading Ruth Montgomery's book, "When Your Money Fails," which speaks about the Universal Product Code, (or "bar code") and a coming " 666 computer chip-system."

I think Mary Stewart Relfe and not Ruth Montgomery wrote that book. Ruth Montgomery was into the occult.
