I recall a few years ago he tried to do the same at Striped Bass in Philly. The owner told him no, these folks already have reservations. BC was miffed........

As a young Executive during the early 70's, I was asked by a United Airlines Stewardess if I would give up my First Class Seat to a VIP who had to make a last minute flight.

Assuming that this very important person was, at the least, Henry Kissinger, I consented.....only to learn that my seat was given to a third rate singer named Julius La Rosa!

I was so livid that I shouted at the Stewie, "Hell, I'm more important than that has-been!"

Many fellow passengers agreed with me. After that, No More Mr. Nice Guy!!!!!

They would have had to physically take me out of the restaurant for me to have given up my seat to the pig.
