First, Vanessa Harris was happy.

Then, she was shocked.

Turning on the morning news, she was relieved to see an arrest in the sniper shootings. But the first words that came out of her mouth were, "Is he black?"

Like Harris, many blacks in the Richmond area were surprised by the details of the alleged snipers' race.

The fundamental problem limiting understanding is real genetic differences between the races.

These diffrences in physical and intellectual capability are real and can't be swept under the rug by political correctness, quotas, government handouts, absurd lawsuits to obtain easy money, affirmative action, reverse discrimination etc.

Unfortunately, the differences can't be fixed.

The only way to go is to consistently insist on equal opportunity for all while concurrenly recognizing that all people are not created equal.

Or it was to make the snipers think someone inept was in charge and give them a false sense of security. Chief Moose did not come across well. He bungled sentences. At times his answers to did not match the question asked. He seemed unstable. I wondered if he might be taking some kind of medication.

"And the fact that he was randomly killing other black people made me think he wasn't black."

And that's just why he shot them...

No, he shot them because they weren't Muslims.

"It's a shock. You typically expect a serial killer to be a middle-age, Caucasian with glasses," said Kerry Williams, a state employee...

As profilers begin to figure what went wrong with their predictions, some people fear that now racial characteristics will be pinned to the crime.

Astounding, isn't it? "Duh... I thought only WHITE PEOPLE committed crimes... now there's going to be RACISTS who think otherwise!"

Yes, I had those same thoughts as well. It would be a good ploy to embolden the killers into making a mistake which in the end they did.

I think that they're wrong. Most people will not link this to race. Most people see what this article completely ignored, that these were muslim terrorists, probably acting alone, though I'm still keeping an open mind about that.

It's sad that so many black people see everything according to skin color. The press has barely mentioned the race of the killers and I've not noticed much made of it here on FR either.

The truth, Fox said yesterday, is that 43 percent of sniper killers and one-third of mass murderers are black.

You won't see this publicized

I remember ovber ten years ago when all those black kids were being murdered in I think it was GA how all the green ribbons were being worn by celebrities on TV until a Black perp was arrested then NOTHING.

ohhhh, man, here we go again...

But the first words that came out of her mouth were, "Is he black?" Like Harris, many blacks in the Richmond area were surprised by the details of the alleged snipers' race.

"Everyone is so surprised. My family in Missouri even called me, shocked," said Harris, owner of Shoes Etc. in 6th Street Marketplace. "I just couldn't believe he could be black."

many in the Richmond area's black community were caught off guard to learn that what some called an attractive black man allegedly was committing the murders, possibly with a young black accomplice

"When they captured him, I didn't believe they had the right [person]," said Falilou Gueye, Senegalese owner of Awas hair braiding. "But when the evidence was presented I was really surprised, because we tend to think only white people do these kinds of things."

"You wouldn't anticipate that level of dysfunction in the black community."

oh? and all the garden-variety killing in that "community" is considered "normal functionality"?

"I'm not eliminating the possibility, but I'm just surprised that this kind of thing goes on in a black person's mind," said Trina Traver, owner of the shop. "And the fact that he was randomly killing other black people made me think he wasn't black."

ibid.

"It hit so close to home," she said. "It's really distressing, because blacks are already treated stereotypically, and now this is one more thing against us."

wow, projection AND denial, all in one package... how efficient of her

"There's going to be a definite impact on society after this," said Williams. "Society will have a new way to negatively spin minorities."..."I knew people would have something to say," said Zxulu, an on-air personality. "People were shocked, and some called in really upset. They just couldn't believe it was a black man."

ibidinem... again.

Tonjia Carter-Wood spoke up with the lone voice at Love My Hair, amid the discussion on race."I don't have much to say about his color," she said. "I'm just glad he was caught."

Well, at least someone has kept some bloody perspective in the hair salon

These are all examples of the racial bigotry of non-whites against whites made possible by the studied ignorance of actual crime statistics coupled with the myth that there is something called a black "community." Go here to read the best summation I have yet seen of what is actually going on:

http://www.jeffsarchive.com/hate%20crime/The%20Color%20of%20Crime.html

The funny thing is, for me, this has nothing to do with him being black and everything to do with him being a Nation of Islam black muslim.

There are as many ignorant racists today as at any time in history.

Dear Black Community:

Please get over this shock real soon.

Evil comes in all colors. The fact that he is black is of no consequence.

The fact that he worships Osama is more telling.

Love,

LibKill

I quess he never heard of the Long Island Railroad Mass shooter several years back

Probably because the media focused on the real culprit THE GUN

Wow I didn't know people thought that about me, maybe I need to get rid of the glasses, and have eye surgery.

Mr. Gueye needs to remove his head from his Senagalese posterior

"African-Americans are six times more likely to be murdered than whites. Between 1976 and 1999, 94% of black murder victims were killed by other African-Americans. Nearly two-thirds of black homicides were drug related.

Homicide is the leading cause of death for African-American men between the ages of 15 and 24. It accounts for more deaths of black men age 25 to 44 than does heart disease, cancer or diabetes. It is the second leading cause of death for black women age 15 to 24 and ranks fifth as the cause of deaths for black women age 25 to 44."

Black, white, red, yellow or purple, it matters little. What does matter is two Radical Muslims committed these cold blooded killings. Assuming Mohammad was ‘taking prisoners’ as he scoped in on each person, take a look at how their thinking/religion turns into such diabolical hate.

In an article titled “A Guide to the Perplexed Regarding the Permissibility of Killing Prisoners,” which appeared in the column “Jihad News from the Land of the Caucasus(1)” the author suggests that the Islamic religious scholars present five different alternatives, drawn from the various interpretations of the Koran: 1) A polytheist prisoner must be killed. No amnesty may be granted to him, nor can he be ransomed. 2) All infidel polytheists and the People of the Book (i.e., Jews and Christians) are to be killed. They may not be granted amnesty, nor can they be ransomed. 3) Amnesty and ransom are the only two ways to deal with prisoners. 4) Amnesty and ransom are possible only after the killing of a large number of prisoners. 5) The Imam, or someone acting on his behalf, can choose between killing, amnesty, ransom or enslaving the prisoner.

.....can we assume the "step-son" acted as the Imam?
