Thirty years of wrong policy doesn't make it right.

So why do China nuts wait until Bush is President to complain about the policy. This policy has not been debated by anyone with any substance for decades. TAiwan says there is only one China too; does that mean you want us to help them invade the mainland and wipe out Beijing? Get a grip. This one was lost back in '47, the year of my birth (but dont blame it on me).

My birth year, too. Yes, too much was lost too decisively then.

But we've flushed too much down the sewer to Beijing too needlessly since then, too.

And some of us HAVE complained a lot and loudly since then.

I have long loved Taiwan and their courageous stand against the evil communists. I have only been on FR since 4/2001. If I had been on Fr when klintoon was prez, I would have been saying the same thing.

It's a shame klintoon's and Bush's policy towards Taiwan is similar. It demonstrates that that is a policy which is above presidents.
