As we both work in Houston, I suggest we just step out on the street in front of your building and ask the first one hundred people we see "who do you trust, lawyers or guys who have spent their entire life in the oilfield?"

That's not exactly representative, since the "oilfield trash" line up outside my building every morning to bring breakfast goodies to all the lawyers who really run the oil business from inside the building.

Let's just look at who the people elect to run the country.
