Man, she nails it again.

Malkin has got to be one of the MOST astute writers of the day.
Wasn't the shoe-bomber, Reid, connected to Jamaica in some way? His father was Jamaican?

I don't know...it is a valid question. Great article by Malkin, isn't it?

And WHO bears accountability? Perhaps if the officer who let the illegal go free (over-riding Federal Law) were charged as an accomplis to 10 acts of murder; and spent a few years behind bars, others would catch the drift. He directly aided and abeited the murder of 10 innocents.

She doesn't waste time with literary effects or trying to hide her opinion. She packs a lot of facts in a coherent, short, article.

Yeah, I heard they identified Malvo's fingerprints on a piece of paper left behind one of the murders. This means his prints were already on record.

LOL - she ought to get a commmission for doing the heavy lifting for the NYT, Wash Post and other poor excuses for rags.

Malvo and Muhammed. What is their true relationship? Was Muhhamed ever married to James? How does Malvo come by the title "step-son"?

WHEN is someone going to get down and dirty and clean up the intolerable mess at the INS? If the random murder of 10 everyday people doesn't move anyone to action, nothing will. It's over.
Oh, and Mr. Tancredo (pro-borders, language, and culture Congressman from Colorado), call your office!
To: MeneMeneTekelUpharsin
Failure to control our borders keeps killing innocent Americans. We can expect more of it. Who knows how many sleeper foreign terrorists are waiting within our country to kill more innocents? I don't know if the people will eventually allow their outrage to overcome their foolish political correctness but until they do, many more will probably die.

"she ought to get a commmission for doing the heavy lifting for the NYT, Wash Post and other poor excuses for rags." As we speak, they are huddled in their offices trying to figure out how to get away with ignoring all of this.
To: MeneMeneTekelUpharsin
We've got so many government employees that just won't do their jobs. This is absurd, with dire consequences for Americans and legal immigrants.

And WHO bears accountability? Nobody. The woman who let 13 of the hijackers into the country got a bonus last week. If th INS were a private company, heads would roll. It's a sort-of Libertarian argument, but perhaps if the INS were a private company under contract to the federal government there would be a lot more accountability. What they have done is criminal negligence.

A black muslim and an illegal alien (released into the US by INS officials) shoot 13 people in 'sniper' attacks, and are caught in one of the biggest law enforcement manhunts in US history. The economic impact to the DC area is probably as great as the 9/11 attacks, and the 'terror' is actually more widespread throughout the area than 9/11.
Profilers hired by broadcast networks expouse theories about 'lone white male gun owners'.
Liberal democrats call for more gun control measures.
PC press headline reads: "Former US Army soldier and stepson suspected in DC shootings."
C.A.I.R. press release lists incidents of 'bigotry' against muslims.
US population breaths a sigh of relief and goes back to watching Survivor and Real World.

INS is waiting for an amnesty.
As currently written, the Gephardt amnesty would:
» Grant immediate green cards to not only the estimated 8 to 11 million illegal aliens currently residing in the U.S., but also to their spouses and minor children who may be living outside the country. In addition they would become immediately eligible for all federal and state welfare benefits available to legal immigrants.
» Give the relatives of illegal aliens admission priority over the relatives of legal immigrants.
» Accept attestations of continuous presence and/or employment in the U.S. in lieu of proof of the fact that an applicant has lived in this country long enough to be eligible for amnesty.
» Bar the INS from deporting illegal aliens who might qualify for amnesty until final regulations are written - a period which could take years.
» Qualify illegal aliens who have been deported and who subsequently returned to the U.S. Moreover, the period during which they were outside the U.S. will count towards the requirement of continuous presence.
» Designate nongovernmental organizations to process applications. This is an open invitation to fraud since both the government and the public will be barred from access to their records. Among the fraudulent recipients of the 1986 amnesty was one of the 1993 World Trade Center bombers.
» Broadly allow denials of amnesty to be challenged in federal courts, creating the potential for years of delay and unimaginable litigation costs.
