The loonie left is having a mental meltdown because the sniper doesn't fit the knee jerk stereotype liberals have of conservatives. It wasn't an angry chain smoking meat eating white Southern Christian Republican male.

It looks like it's an Islamo-fascist who if he hadn't been caught, would surely have joined their "Hate America" rally this Saturday.

They will say these are fall guys, the authorities set them up for a show trial because they decided to pay the ransom demanded to get the shootings to stop, but did not want to publicize the fact. The real killer was some variety of white supremicist gun nut who has made good his escape. His instruction to chief Moose was to grab and frame a black Muslim and pin the crime on him, announcing on TV "we've caught the sniper, like a duck in a noose" (mark my words, they will spin that one blind). The gun nut shooter has $10 million and got away with murder, and added a racial slur send-off to his high tech lynching of an uppity black man. All the evidence against these two is circumstantial or was planted. The authorities are craven and corrupt and incompetent, buying off terrorists and framing the innocent. Of course, orders to get the issue "resolved" before election day whatever the cost in money, policy, or morals, came from the "very top". Meanwhile, notice that none of the shooting victims were Jewish. Did they know? Was it an agit-prop operation from start to finish? One designed to focus white rage just before the election? The loss of the senate will follow, and war will be unleashed soon after, and it will all be because of this Vast Right Wing Conspiracy (TM).

But I maintain the key word here is "complex". The Left tags anything "complex" that they don't want to understand so they can talk in hushed tones awhile, and consult experts, and scrunch their foreheads in vicarious pain, and "process' it.

On another thread, a long time FReeper argued that these aren't Muzzle limbs but "just a couple of angry black criminals", because after all Muzzle limbs don't "knock over (rob) liquor stores". So expect this kind of line from the media. Why? Because it's the most plausible one and fits the comfortable, preconceived notions about black crime and is acceptable even to staunch conservatives. How is it that when clinton was president, his ATF set out to get a guy -- location and identity known -- whose worst crime might have been failure to pay the taxes on a machine gun, and wound up killing dozens of women and children. then, of course, they rounded up the survivors and jailed them.

Now Bush's ATF goes after guys -- identity and location unknown -- who are actually killing women and children, threatening all the children in a three state area, and they manage to make a peaceful arrest.

The real answer came from a headshrinker on BBC News 24 last night. He went on and on about how the sniper likely had a deprived childhood.

As opposed to the tens of millions of people with deprived childhoods that are non-muderous? As opposed to the Unabomber, who had a very privileged childhood, but was a terrorist bomber anyway?
