Of course he is a terrorist .... just like Ted K. was. Ted was not a muslim, but still a murderous nutcase. This homegrown nutcase may have converted (though he clearly isn't a 'good' muslim for having committed blashphemy by claiming to be God), but that does not mean he is linked to Al-Queda or using any tactics that he didn't already learn from the US military.

Sheesh, MORON, please try to understand something.
One of the points people have been making about Islam, is that there are potentially thousands of people UNAFFILIATED or TRAINED by organized terrorist groups that are nonetheless SYMPATHETIC and will commit MURDER in the name of ISLAM.
Are you truly that slow? I guess you don't think the LAX shooter was a terrorist? Even though later it came out that he DID have an Islamic Jihad connection.

Like I said, my question was geared toward the way you seemed to be discounting that he was muslim at all, not that he was AQ. While I don't think we should discount any possibility at this point, I agree that the AQ connection has yet to be made.
However, as several this morning have pointed out, just because someone claims to be a devout muslim does not necessarily limit their behavior, such as the strip-club visiting 911 terrorists.
Besides, I don't think the fact that he called himself God is a huge Islamic stretch. Islamic extremists claim to ACT in the name of Allah, so if he thinks he is acting for Allah, the message could have been directly from Allah, in his mind.
At any rate, when it comes right down to it, I don't care who or what he is. I just care that they got him.
