Listen idiot, your sarcasm and insults are not warranted(yeah I know I just called you idiot, but you deserve it)

I just posted that it doesn't matter that he's linked or not with international terrorist groups. Then you go and try to be clever and say that I'm(or others) are insinuating he has intimate links with Zawahiri. NO ONE IS SAYING THIS. We're saying it's a MENTALITY among many Muslims, one that isn't necessarily directed by a single source or even a few main sources.

Now you're misrepresenting others' arguments, which is deception and you're a disruptor.

Oh, don't worry 'bout that. Its in humor, a private joke, and doesn't apply to you or this.

"Oh, these two may be sincerely angry at the US, but that doesn't mean they are international terrorists... You're right....he's a Muhammed....clearly an international terrorist linked to Hezbollah"

See, you're changing the requirements for this sniper to be Al-Queda based upon your own standard of measure. That's where the flaw is in your argument.

To be Al-Queda, it's not necessary to have trained in Afghanistan with Osama bin Laden looking on approvingly at your monkey-bar skills.

It's not necessary to have met with Yemeni terrorist Abdullah-Abu Yabba-Dabboollah at some point.

It's not a requirement that you have a T-shirt, graduation diploma, a secret Al-Queda decoder ring hidden in a steel can buried under your driveway, or VHS videos of Jihadi warriors in Chechnya bought from your local mosque in Tacoma, Washington.

It's also not necessary that you be 'international' or have some contact with Hizbollah.

All that's necessary is to be Muslim and violent towards Americans 'whereever so you may encounter them, In-Shallah!'.

The whole idea behind Al-Queda was that it be composed of individuals who can operate independently even if the head of the organization is destroyed. The body shall live.

John Mohammed was reportedly full of praise for the 9/11 hijackers, and took on a Muslim identity after 9/11. He's Al-Queda no matter how long he's been Muslim. The moment he got the notion to kill Americans, he became self-avowed Al-Queda.

In Al-Queda, you can welcome yourself into the club without paying any membership dues anywhere.

Have you been paying any attention whatsoever to what Al-Queda is this past year?

your comment to Annie:
I don't agree with your thoughts here on this thread, but I've been around here long enough to know that you are one of the good guys.
You don't deserve the treatment and attitude some of the people have been throwing at you. Some people's willingness to "eat their own" when you are not in lockstep with their beliefs amazes me.

I agree. I've been sitting on the same side of the table as Annie on other threads on different topics. On this topic, I happen to disagree with her, but I also think everyone is being too harsh on her. People get into this feeding frenzy mode, and as soon as they smell blood in the water, they attack. I myself have been guilty of this behavior on other threads, but I usually try to reserve it for one of the disruptors that sneak over here from thewebsitewhosenameshallnotbespoken. Those people are deserving of a full scale feeding frenzy attack.

if this loser was connected to Al Quaeda, he wouldn't have had to knock over liquor stores or sleep in his car. He'd be funded, with a series of safe houses.

I remember reading in the NY Times (I know, consider the source!) that the Al Qaeda cells were expected to be financially self-sufficient in the countries of operation, either through jobs or through crime.

That was the detective who captured Son of Sam. He said profilers are useless and he's never thought they added anything to an investigation.

I saw this same guy on Fox and Friends a few days ago. He said he believed the sniping was being done by a couple of teenagers who were spending too much time playing violent video games.

Since you posted it on a public bb, it didn't occur to me that it was private joke. In light of current events and this thread, it's somewhat of an attention grabber.

I've already explained that typo.

Sorry, guess I jumped the gun on that one. Should have read more of the postings before making a comment. Like I said on a previous post, I've been sitting on the same side of the table with you on different topics. I may tend to disagree with you a bit on this topic, but I'm not gonna jump on you and call you names because we disagree on this issue.

Its islamic terrorism, alright, even if it is a pair of misfit islamo-nuts.

I'm sure Mohammed has mental health problems, and a deap-seated rage stemming from his own inadequacy. etc. etc etc

However the religion factors into their behaviour in a big way. He answered the call from Islamic leaders asking for american Jihadi's to rise up. If Mohammed had delusions of grandeur that he could inspire islamic revolution, it was the muslim faith that taught him that the world was upside down and that revolution was necessary. That violence should be used to gain converts to islam.

His letters, his orders for his "codes" to be given out to the public, will all later prove to be about triggering others to act, even if he has nothing but his own imaginary connection to organized terrorism.

who has attached his rage in some tangential way to his faith.

Your words, my emphasis added.

Yeah, you're probably right. Everyone knows rage and resentment are totally, way-out-there tangential to Minister Farakahn's (sp) preaching.

Yep, the more I think about it, the whole thing was probably attributable to 20 or 30 consecutive bad hair days.

Thanks for not going the name-calling and swearing route!

I'm not sure that I disagree with anyone here. I'm only saying that we don't know squat, and just because someone is a black American muslim doesn't mean all of 'em should be rounded up. And that is, after all, the only way we could have prevented these killings.

I hope we can all agree on one thing....these two (and anyone else who helped 'em) should fry.

Don't give up now....I was just about convinced that everyone here is right about this guy taking orders from some terrorist organization, and that the government is just covering up that fact!

White right-wing guy. Black muslim. What's the difference really?

Only a moron can say something like that

White right-wing guy's do not fly planes into buildings killing 3000 innocent people, however muslims of any colour do, besides muslims of any color threaten our freedom and our way of life.

It's a mere coincidence that Muslims are involved in almost all terrorist actions.

Thanks, I like D. Pipes and will read it. Yipes, perhaps folks will want to round up Jehovah's Witnesses who also refuse pledging to the flag.

I am sorry, Sabertooth. I should have made it plain that anniegetyourgun was fishing for derogatory comments about Muslims, not you. My only excuse for my lack of clarity is that I had little sleep last night.

Again, my apologies, Sabertooth.

Annie, I see that you are continuing your line, and I do believe you are mocking people. I wouldn't be so hasty to dump on all who disagree with you. At some point we will know the connections or the lack thereof. I will be quite happy if these are guys who were simply inspired to do their part without connections to AQ. However, to discount it at this juncture would be quite silly.

And as far as I am concerned, you may stay out of the box, climb into the box, or run around it in circles. I would like you to quit using that phrase, but I am sure you won't.
