That's what they have been saying all morning and last night that they acted alone. They also said they never went to the Ground Zero camp and had no link to Al-Qaeda.

I don't know about that, I think they're checking in to ties with the Bellingham High Glee Club. It seems Lee Malvo was apparently a Tenor II, but was summarily dismissed because he tended to end each line with, "...mon".

A number of students sided with Malvo and cited racism as a possible factor in his removal from the club. It is not clear, however, whether any threats he or his supporters made were to be taken seriesly.
