So...if the gun or the credit card is not involved with the Alabama robery/killing...what is the Alabama connection then???Maybe this is the liberal media's attempt to keep that "redneck, NASCAR, gun-toting" connection alive.

Maybe this is the liberal media's attempt to keep that "redneck, NASCAR, gun-toting" connection alive. LOL that's a possibility. Maybe they just happened to live there for a while or had relatives down there that they stayed with. Who knows. The people at the training camp this morning said as far as they know they never went there. But that doesn't mean the sniper didn't. He might still be out there and these guys might have met him in Alabama. That could be the connection.

Just getting online this AM. Sorry but I haven't read all the nearly 700 posts, so this may have already been mentioned, but....
It looks like both theories that have been bantered back and forth here for the past couple of weeks are correct.
This was a home grown, wacko, freako, sicko, nut-case, and it had ties to middle eastern terrorist (Islam). The only difference, that quite frankly I didn't see coming is that the sicko, nut-case was a black guy. Not usual to see blacks just randomly killing other blacks. I know from my years of LE that black gang members do kill other blacks, and I do know that most murder crimes in black communities are black on black...., but, not many random, serial type murders are committed by a black on blacks. Just didn't see that one coming. Looks like the profile manuals will be re-written on this one.
Oh, by the way, Goodmorning everyone.

A lot of the things that Chief Wilson don't add up-like the part about chasing the perp. According to news reports at the time, witnesses saw him get into a car behind a Krystal and Captain D's just up the street from the crime scene. Maybe 200 or so yards. Surely the pursuing officer could run that far. After all, the chief said that the officer got within two feet of the perp. He could have just shot him, too. I have been hearing rumors about a feud between the MPD and the mayor. Because of this, cops are reluctant to risk their safety over crimes in progress. I believe that there is some truth to this because when my parents house was burglarized a few months ago, it took almost two hours and several 911 calls by eyewitnesses who saw the perps breaking in to get a response. Those perps got several firearms and other valuables, and have even been seen in the neighborhood with stolen goods. The last my parents heard from the MPD was a phone call asking if the property had been recovered. Wouldn't they know if it had? Rumor also has it that a suspect was on the scene in the crowd that gathered after the shooting, but police told him to leave.(probably Malvo, based on the composite drawing made by MPD) I'm not sure if this rumor is true, but it has been all over town. I actually got wind of it from someone in Auburn. Regardless, I sure feel safe here in Montgomery right now!
