It is interesting to note that these "snipers" appear to be the home-grown variety, appear to be Muslim or Muslim sympathizers, and now I wonder if there is any real AQ connection. Probably too soon to tell. Looks like they might have been supported in part by robbing liquor stores.

They said no AL-Qaeda connection so far. Even though they are sympathizers. I think these guys acted on their own stupid anti-american killing spree.
