That is so sad. I used to celebrate New Years Eve in Selma. Had a great friend who gave that annual party. She lived in one of those great old historical houses. It was always alot of fun. She died a few years ago, way too young, and way too good of a person to lose. It's sad to learn about that area. I truly had no idea. I've learned alot on these threads.

It is sad. That area is where the Black Panthers hid H Rap Brown while he was on the run. He was arrested at a farm not to far from Marion.
