You know, when our neighbor's child was murdered and they found the perp, they (cops, prosecutors, the mayor, you name it) did try to reassure us, but we were not reassured even though we knew he was behind bars. We were still fearful and that unease didn't leave until after the trial, his conviction and sentencing. Until we had that conviction, there always was that doubt: was he the right one? Could someone else be out there? How can we protect ourselves against a subhuman who's murder a child in her bed and stuff her body in a garbage can? It took quite a while before we could feel comfortable sleeping in our own beds. It didn't happen from one press conference, or two or three or ten, and platitudes from pols was the last thing we needed. What we needed was time and regaining the sense of security we had lost.

I understand your point .. really I do
I guess my problem is there was so much inaccurate information that was put out .. I guess I wanted to know more of the truth ..
I am sure the police caught the right guys in these shooting .. I am not questioning that
