Since we have real Coke and real Vanilla Syrup, I will try mixing some on my own.

One of the great joys about Waffle House is that they make real vanilla coke or real cherry coke (regular coke w/ them adding the flavor) on request.

QuikTrip has the same set up at their fountains (you can add vanilla or cherry to whatever soda you wish)!

My wife's final comment re the Diet Vanilla Coke was what type of sadist would come up with a Diet Vanilla Coke. Then she said those who drank it had to be really sick people.
