FBI Probes Wash. Sniper Link, Police Confirm Sniper's 10th Fatality

Local news says that in Bellingham, 60 miles from Canadian border, there was FBI investigation into 2 people up there, ONE NOT AMERICAN BORN. One younger(like highschool? Bellingham High), one older, haven't been around in 9 months. This from interview with Mayor of Bham.

I'm remembering that one of those al-queda bugs in the Portland cell, the ones that were target-shooting at the dump...one of those bugs had been a soldier in the U.S. Army, having joined to learn how to make war on Americans. If they find a military connection to the sniper, it may be a similar situation.

We teach them how to fly airplanes, they fly airplanes into our citizens. We teach them the arts of war, they make war on our citizens.

Time for all al-queda to die.

They also urged immigrants to come forward with any information without fear of deportation, and the governor raised the possibility of posting National Guardsman at Maryland polls on Nov. 5 unless the killer is caught.

IMHO, this is another signal that this is the work of terrorists, and not a simple psycopath. The timing of the shootings makes sense for terrorists as well. First, a rash of shootings to get the media's attention, then enough to keep it in the public eye while minimizing risk to the shooters.

If this is the work of terrorists, the response should be to give no more information about unsolved homicides to the press, because that is what the terrorists want. There response to this tactic would predictably be to create another rash of shootings to force it back into the public view.

For those of you who do not live in the Washington, DC area. Governor Glendening (MD) was interviewed this morning on WTOP with regards to illegal immigrants being afraid to come forward with information because of the people who were turned over to the INS. He promised on air to address this issue. Shortly thereafter, officials stated that like September 11- immigrants with important information were being asked to come forward. The press has run away with this information- it DOES NOT mean there is a connection. This looks like home grown terrorism!

Agents searched the home in Tacoma, Wash., more than 2,000 miles away from the region where the shootings have taken place...there were shootings in Illinois or Indiana?
