I served in the campaign of a US congressman that said the legislation, emotionally passed in days of the aftermath, was prepared BEFORE OKC happened - and that if he ever told anyone he thought the government could have prevented OKC from happening, he would fear for his life. This was years ago. I've conciously decided to 'expect the worst and pray for the best' since that day regarding my government - the one that doesn't want its 'subjects' armed.
