I'm not sure, but it seems that it might be someone by the name of Georges Radosavljevic. He appears on this list of people admitted to the Ecole Militaire Interarmes in 2001. His last name is Slavic, and I've been told that there are reports that the missing marksman's first name is Georges (although I haven't seen these reports myself).

So definitely not Bosnian Muslim, but more likely Serb. He'd have a powerful political motive to be an urban sniper in Washington.

But it's just as likely that he went AWOL for the usual reasons soldiers do.

Varina Davis found OUAZANA, GEORGES JOSEPH on the Interpol list, but he is said to be 40 years old and a forger, so I don't think that is the 25 year old AWOL marksman.
