They are HOPING LIKE HELL this all fizzles, so they can sweep it under the rug.
But I fear it won't fizzle, it will explode, and in a day or two this will be the hugest story in the world.

Hi all. Just getting in after my commute home. Going back over the thread now. Listened to NPR news on the way home (I know, I know) and at least they had the Moscow hostage story right after the sniper update. Their reporter on the scene in Moscow also mentioned that Muslims (not "non-Russians") had been released. Hopefully nothing dramatic has happened yet.
