Most Saudis are Sunnis, and virtually all Saudi Sunnis are Wahh'abist. There is a substantial Shi'ite minority in Saudi Arabia, concentrated in the eastern region where most of the oil is located, that has historically been badly mistreated by the ruling class. Thus, some have suggested, brilliantly, that we encourage Shi'ite separatists to break off from the corrupt Saudi regime in Riyadh.
