THANK YOU for posting this thread, daviddennis!
We expect AP photographers to be in Pasadena for this one!
See also an EXCELLENT warm-up for the eGray FReep:
Liberty-Belles Halloween Celebrity Shoot
also on Saturday, October 26 - but EARLIER in the day...
Details, anyone?
It would be WONDERFUL if MANY FReepers could go to BOTH events, but please do NOT bring your firearms to the event in Pasadena. :o)

OK! Here they are:

Greetings Southern California!

Come one, come all to the Liberty Belles second annual Belles, Bullets &
Barbeque Halloween event! An extravaganza of feast, firearms, and fun awaits
you Saturday, October 26, 2002. Far from mundane, this year's celebration
offers prizes, good company, and, quite possibly, an array of Annie Oakleys.
THERE WILL BE A PRIZE FOR THE BEST ANNIE OAKLEY COSTUME!

Bring some food to grill, firearms if you have them, and a costume (if you
dare) and we will see you on October 26th!

Proceeds from this year's Belles, Bullets & Halloween will be donated to the
Burro Canyon Shooting Park cleanup operation. The Park lost many trees and two
containers during recent fires in San Gabriel Canyon.

SPECIAL NOTE: If the road to Burro Canyon is closed, simply inform the Park
Ranger that you are going to Burro Canyon Shooting Park and they will let you
through.

WHAT: Belles, Bullets & Halloween - An afternoon of shooting, lunch, and good
company with like-minded people.

WHEN: Saturday, October 26, 2002 10 AM to 3 PM

WHERE: Burro Canyon Shooting Park - Approximately 35 minutes from Los Angeles
and San Bernardino

DIRECTIONS: http://www.burrocanyon.com/info.html

COST: $9.00 for range fees

WHAT TO BRING: Firearms and ammunition (if you have them); food (grill is
provided to cook BBQ on); eye and ear protection; warm clothing
