I must echo your question about the x-ray machine. There are portable machines, but they are for x-raying legs and arms and such.

I would like to know who loaned the x-ray machine, and how the request was presented.

This war on terror provides Hollywood with both great dramatic movies and situation comedies. Hollywood should back President Bush because his administration will keep them employed for years.

They're used for nondestructive testing of mechanical constructions, ie critical machine parts, pipes, support structures...ect. They can rent one from any testing lab.
