Second Sniper Message?

At 5AM eastern I caught part of the CNN radio news on WJAS Pittsburgh. I didn't have time to catch the entire story, but I believe the report stated that another note from teh sniper has been found. It was in the woods at the scene of Monday's shooting in Silver Spring, and once again made a demand for money. There was a new threat against kids too.

Did anyone else hear this? I've been searching for the story here but so far I've come up empty. That's why I'm posting this vanity. I'd really like to confirm what I heard.

Fox News is reporting a Breaking Chief Moose Press Conference was announced about 20 minutes ago. Not yet aired, but reported to be significant,....yadayadayada

I bet Moose is going to announce his resignation after the massive snafu of operators hanging up on the guy 6 different times so that he got furious and killed 5 extra people.

The murders aren't the fault nor negligently encouraged by the cops, no matter how critical one might get.

Murder, pure and simply is the responsibility of the murderer. All the more obvious in the case of the sniper.

Another approach might be to get him upset at an appropriate time, mass the police response and react that much quickly when he flies off the handle.

Don't feel bad. In my post I was saying >Monday's< shooting when I meant >Tuesday's< shooting. It's getting so you need a scorecard to keep up!

My only excuse is...ahem...becasue I work overnights, I almost NEVER get my days straight. A few years ago I was involved in a minor auto accident and the cop...a freind of mine...had to give me the DUI test. He kept asking me what day it was and I kept telling him Wednesday and the date. He'd then ask me if I was sure...go on to something else...and then ask me again. By the time I was done I was so confused I DIDN'T know what day it was!
