I remember hearing or reading somewhere that Hate Crime laws have been applied more often to Black-on-White crimes than the other way around. If this is true, it must be one of the lamestream media's "little secrets."

I know of several horrendous, even sensational, incidents of such racial violence in MD in recent years. But they were tucked away in local papers and never given the media circus treatment.

But what is to be expected from a one-party, one-paper state?

Cheer up, if you can, KS' laws regarding appeals are somewhat different than those in PA when Mumia was first sentenced. The death penalty in this case may take 6-8 years, but it'll happen.
