Someone posted the resume for Moose and his past history earlier. Can someone please point me to that information. Also is it true that he was fired in Seattle? Thanks

He has an impressive background. He seems like a man with a good heart. I just wish this investigation was being handled better and its not because of Moose that I think that way.

Oh please man, the guy is an idiot. It does not matter if he is a liberal (he probably is) or a conservative. Have you heard the way he speaks in public? Is this the type of "professional" the police want to be a spokesman? My 10 year old is more articulate than he is!

By the way, it was Portland, Oregon and he was fired.

I agree. I do not believe that he is in charge. I doubt he wants to be in total charge. He is playing his part...as are thousands of others.

Wouldn't the Sherrif of Montgomery County be the highest elected law enforcement officer?

Quote "In 1999, with the input of a diverse group of 18 local citizens to screen candidates, completed a local and national search process to hire Mark Kroeker as
Portland’s new police chief after Charles Moose resigned to take a position in Montgomery County, Maryland. In appointing Chief Kroeker, gave special recognition to Lynnae
Berg for excellent service as acting chief following the resignation of Chief Charles Moose."

Did you ever get the feeling that certain people get their jollies putting others down? I guarantee they would probably have a hard time even shining Moose's shoes! I agree with you that he is a good man. And judging from his resume, he worked hard to be that way.

Pray for Chief Moose and all those in law enforcement who are working on this case.

Too many people are defending the indefensible in him - making it personal, to the death of innocent people.

Moose is turning this stuff in to a zoo. I thought he was a poor choice for a front man the first time I heard him.
After that, it was all down hill. And, he keeps proving he's not up for the job.

Now, I think the theory that the murderer is getting his jollies taunting Moose is quite valid. Moose isn't doing
any future victims any favors by conducting the "press conferences" as some inept farce, almost on the level of a
Mel Brooks movie. Or Airplane!.

This guy is about as competent to run a police department as Mister Moose from the old Captain Kangaroo kids TV show. What's this fool going to do, drop ping-pong balls on the sniper? (If you don't get that one, you didn't grow watching the show!)

Instead of spouting hate, why don't you share with us specifically what Moose could be doing differently in this case?

Excellent point! I doubt the keyboard cops will have any suggestions, much less a answer.

There is really no defense against a sniper. They are trying to draw him out so that they can learn more about him/them. As they learn they will piece together some info that may lead to a bust. This is going to take time.

The moose is not calling all the shots, he is but a messenger. (a fairly well pissed off on at that) The FBI is there. The ATF is there. I heard some idiot on FOX calling for the National Guard to be deployed.(now that will be something)

I suggest and will volunteer to sit on a corner in a easy chair with a bullseye T shirt and draw the SOB out into the open! That might work.

Anyone else have a suggestion?
