With all due respect. I always have liked your posts and thought you have made some sense for sure at times but you provided nothing as far as evidence. I will just go with the assumption you gave me your opinion on this and thought it is/was bunk. Which is fine. The INS was finally doing their job imo. I agree the speed of it all was something for sure. However, when was the last time you saw reporters going in to interview illegals who are being deported for being just that..illegal?!?
I will come back to this thread when all is said and done and if you are right I will stand corrected. Either way it is all theory.

*Rich kid leaves for America and Canada on 'holiday', hasn't spoken to family for months, who report him missing. That rich kid in Florida who flew that twin-prop into that office tower was distanced from his parents, and was a fan of Bin Laden.
*Being new to the US, with no family would leave no friends, employers etc to report strange behavior or absenteeism. Conversely, the people who knew him most, his french colleagues, picked up on the connection very rapidly and reported it to the deans. Evidently, they knew his profile: it 'seemed like something he'd do.'
*His motivation? A higher position in Islam. He might be building a resume to a future employer.
*The French have heavy investment in Iraqi oil: he might have much opportunity to consort with Iraqi Biggies.
