Al Qaeda and its supporting groups have had its money stripped from them for the most part and choked off. Is this the new means of getting money?An interesting point. The Abu Sayyaf (southern Philippines version of AQ) did fund their operations by kidnapping rich foreigners and returning them after ransom money was paid. At one time, the exchange rate in Manila was 40 pesos=1 US dollar, while in the areas where Abu Sayyaf was the black market rate was 10 pesos=1 dollar. Why? Because they needed the US greenbacks to buy ammo and guns.

I had Abu in mind as well especially with the recent bombings going on there not to mention the pressure they have been under with even more U.S. military presence there. We have the Phillipines bombings,French tanker,Bali bombings and some other terror attacks in Pakistan on churches etc...I believe they should change that color chart right now or scrap it alltogether.
