I don't think the cops are communicating with the real sniper.

I keep listening to the contradictions from the chief.

If I were the people or person he's negociating with I would be frustrated and pissed off. Then go shoot more people to show him "da sniper" means business.

That doesn't seem to be the case here. Yes I know that the "so called sniper" has accused the chief of hanging up on him 5 times thus causing 5 more deaths.

The shooting are still coming at the same intesity.

I think that if the real sniper was really demanding a ransom, he would escalate the shootings.

Also: Communication is going to cause the real sniper to get busted. The real sniper has a written procedure to follow. He will not deviate from it, unless he has a stupid or/and partner will less disipline. They may even be fueding about this and since it is too difficult to snipe alone, he may get busted by going it alone.
OR
His greedy partner will get busted and turn on him.

Bottom line is they won't get caught unless they screw da pooch big time!

I believe that while the chef is pussyfooting around with these phony snipers, some armed citizen with cajones is going to hear a shot, charge at the sniper and kill him with a pistol because he may be going it alone.

I don't think it is an American, in fact, I believe it is probably terrorism, and here is why.

If they truly want $10MM, it would be money they could never collect, for various reasons, it is money the one man could never spend. But if this were part of a group, shooters doing the shooting, routed to a bank in US, routed to a bank in Palestine, Iran, Iraq, whatever, $10MM would buy a lot of arms, maybe even weapons grade plutonium. In other words, if this is a lone nut, money will never doing him any good. If this is a group, that can transfer the money to a terror harboring country, Yemen, this makes a lot of sense.

people around the sniper area must be told what to do when the sniper strikes again... instead of ducking for cover, charge the area where the shot came from and flush out the villian... don't forget to carry your trusty .45... wait, i'm sorry, they are not allowed.... duck and cover, as you were.
