Sounds like a convenient excuse to suspend civil liberties to me.

First, we need to outlaw white vans and box trucks..then all guns..

All joking aside, the current "sniper shootings" is a textbook example of what I've been thinking all along. A dedicated group of shooters placed around the US hitting targets of opportunity at the same time would put people in a panic frenzy (not to mention the media)

People who think the evil ones are not working on a coordinated attack on the U.S. are living in a dream world. They are looking at the sniper situation, anthrax, and other methods to shut our economy down. How about anthrax on money? They are laughing at how easy it would be. They want to kill us. No panic here-most American's are just plain p*ssed off. As usual the liberal media wimps, try to paint all of us with the liberals yellow paint brush. This is just one more cause of death to be faced and dealt with. People who live in high crime areas have long ago adjusted to living their daily lives under much greater threat of sudden and unexpected violent death.
