Low voter turnout in Metro DC area -- what effect would that have on the senate races in NJ, SD, MO, etc.? No doubt there will be an effect, heck, the weather affects voting, but Fox is making news with this connection, where there is really little news and little effect.

Oh here we go.... I just read a thread where the dems are suing over some ballot and whining again!
Bet me only democrats will be able to safely vote and if any election nationwide is LOST by the demokrats they will have something else to call a waaaaambulance about...
I can hear them now OUR PEOPLE were to afraid to leave their house and the only votes we got were the dead peoples we lied about being alive so waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa we were disenfranchised because of the sniper.

Any way we could get the sniper to temporarily move to, say, NJ or MN? Just for a day.

You can count the Republicans in the DC area on one hand.
If you've never been there, trust me when I say its a case study on why Democrats should not be allowed to be in charge of anything.

The only time the Dems will be happy with any election is when it is like the one just held in Iraq. 100% of the vote is for the only party you are ALLOWED to vote for.

Don't know about Maryland or D.C., but in my area of New Jersey you have until October 29th to apply for an
absentee ballot.
If there's still time to apply down there, bet we'll see a flood of votes from the mailbox.

If it has any effect it would likely be along theses general lines. Registered Democrats think government can protect them better than they can protect themselves. With a sniper still on the lose apparently the government has failed in it's job to protect those voters and would cause them to stay home. Registered Republicans think they are responsible for protecting themselves and the government's failure to protect would not hinder them from voting.

This could be good news-- demoRATs can stay home and wish they put their money where their mouths are, and bought guns, themselves. If more people carried guns, that sniper would be history. They wouldn't have to wait for police, before they formed a posse and started to search and shoot back.

but in my area of New Jersey you have until October 29th to apply for an absentee ballot.Remember... Dates, deadlines, and timeframes are no longer valid in N.J. You should apply for your absentee ballot after the election. When you are denied the ballot take it to the N.J. Supreme Court claiming that you didn't get a chance to vote. Go in with a BIG Democrat button on your shirt and they will rule in your favor, letting you vote after the election.
