That would be true, if it was purely a question of natural tendencies, kept in check by a decent set of checks and balances...except that society feeds the "I can have it all" delusion for women; it does not feed a similiar delusion for men. By society, I mean laws, case law, government agencies, private companies, prevailing social attitudes, pop culture...

Those boys who marry and still wanna go out drinking with there buds...those girls who marry and still wanna go out dancing with their girlfriends.
If you are not wanting to spend the bulk of your free time with your newly aquired spouse then I'd think the chances of a marriage lasting are greatly reduced.
