At 5:25 AM CDT local NBC affiliate reporting sketchy details on another shooting. Some video shot from a great distance showing a whole bunch of flashing lights but little else.

At 5:30 AM CDT CBS Morning Network News has -nothing- on this story.

So much for the ability of the networks to carry breaking news.

3:55 a.m. PDT - local NBC affiliate still showing repeat of one of their stupid late-night shows; local CBS is showing stale taped news; local ABC affiliate just has a billboard with local network logo. (Eastern Washington state).

If it wasn't for Fox News and the other cable news nets, I'd be totally oblivious.
