Who knows! Fox News was reporting this morning that the ramson note from the Ashland shooting had a threat regarding school children, which is why schools were shut down again today.
I hadn't heard that yet, but I got up late this morning. However if that is true, I would rather be hearing that from LE instead of cable news.
During the press conference that just went the question was being asked as to weather or not LE did in fact receive information that schools may be targeted by this sniper. In fact, the question was asked several times by the media.
The Moose was giving the standard response the "It would be inapposite for me to comment on that at this time," but his body language was not very convincing to me.
If LE does have any kind of information that schools may be being specifically targeted, and they are not releasing that to the public, that is unconscionable. And if it is found out at a later time that they did have that kind of information, but did not release it, and some children come up dead, I think that the people running this show should be charged with criminal negligence.
I sent the following E-mail to Fox News during the news conference.
Subject: Parade of Experts on Sniper Shootings
In regards to the long line of experts that have been recently appearing on Fox to give their opinions about the sniper shootings, i.e. profilers, psychologist, law enforcement, etc, would it be possible to get an expert that could render some kind of an opinion about Chief Moose’s body language during these press conferences?
I am noting that during the current conference that is now on, the question has been asked several times as to weather or not law enforcement has received information that schools may have been specifically targeted. The chief seems to say that they have no information to indicate that, but I would be interested in knowing if his body language indicates that he is not completely telling the truth.
