Obviously, there are people on the road, already en route, who had no idea.....then others who didn't put the news on first before leaving home....(and probably still others who went out of their way so they could be in the middle of this and "get stopped" so they can tell their friends).

With what I'm hearing on TV and scanner, I'm sitting tight at home. No way I'd get into DC at the moment anyway. All traffic is totally stopped. Will call work and tell them I'll get there when roads re-open. Cops don't need me getting in their way right now...

MoCo is now announcing that officers at roadblocks are to inspect each vehicle, let through one vehicle at a time. Lookout vehicle is white van with (para)"number 2 hispanic looking or similar male". Number 2 is white.
