I was always under the impression that the police work for us and are there to serve our needs. If they have information that our children are at risk, then that needs to be disclosed.

I couldn't listen because I am in a cubie but a friend of mine said the sniper said that Moose could not release anything else right now because it doesn't refer to the public. considering the pidgin english so many native-born publicly educated americans speak and write (those who can write at all, that is), one cannot jump to the conclusion that this is a foreign national or immigrant.

Anyone want to take bets on who is the first politician to demand that President Bush intervene, by ringing the schools with National Guard units?? My money is on a Democrat and I expect the DNC to try and make this,into a campaign issue-"Why is Bush wasting time on Iraq, when he could be saving our schoolchildren". I bet they are blast faxing that all over, as we speak.

I was just thinking about what happened when they tried to catch the sniper at the phone booth and they failed and then he killed someone else this morning. If Moose and company commit another fiasco like this who knows what will happen.
