Well with all due respect, I do not view the comment as baiting nor was it intended that way. Facts are that the policy issues which result in our vunerability inside the domestic borders result from political policies for which George II is responsible--the policies need to be changed; we need better leadership; the current sniper crisis is only one in a probable continuing series of events for which we see no national response.

Instead, the national government has developed a response that focuses on controlling law abiding domestic citizens--people who ride on airplanes; private pilots; gun owners and the like. The FBI and other government agencies focus their initial investigative energy on "white supremicists" and other domestic sources. "Homeland security" and Tom Ridge are just a PR exercise designed to make people feel better. We are not doing anything about the substance of the problem nor do we show any signs of being prepared to do so.

We aren't responding to this sniper and a lot of innocent Americans, black and white, probably including kids, are likely to be killed.

So yes, I think the real pressure ought to be on the national administration to get organized to do something effective about this attack. I'm real sorry you don't agree.
