I forgot to tell you...when I was a kid, I used to ask my dad what party he was. He always said, "Neither." Dad always called then "dumb Democrats" and "rotten Republicans". He's kinda grumpy!

And today he is an independent.

An intelligent man, your father. My father never commented except in grunts--my mother always voted "for the man, not the party."

They met as Democrats at an FDR rally. Left this earth as independent conservatives.
