"The 20th Maine was thrust into the cauldron of fire under their new commander Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain. Upon being attacked on Little Round Top by elements of the 15th and 42nd Alabama regiments, the 20th bent back upon itself in an "L" shape, and repelled attacks on both fronts. Again and again they were attacked, and finally upon running out of ammunition they fixed bayonets and swung down the hill rounding up the entire Confederate enemy to their front. Their actions saved the position and the entire left flank of the Union Army at Gettysburg that day."

And now, airhead cub journalists from CNN worry us, Americans, with thoughts about Halloween and grief counselors and panic in the nation's capital? Where is the stuff Americans are made of? We need a lot more Joshua Chamberlains and his men at this time. To face down these scoundrels without fear, to live our lives, and to prevail.
