Someone on one the news shows asked if the media was suppose to lie in order to capture the perp and had the expression on their face as if it was above them to do such a thing.

Well my answer to them is yes stupid ,lie. if it is going to save our citizens lives and assist in cathing these perps, lie. I'm sure they would lie if it would save their lives.

Yes I agree but an expert on the tv telling everyone watching that we are lying to capture you is pathetic.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Ofcourse we are grasping at straws here but clear (klar) is a very common word in German. Instead of saying yes, or I understand many times they just say "Klar"-Sweethearts, that they are-like to keep it short and to the point.

OK..I am back from the dentist (future work will only cost $3500. Ugh).

As far as the news obsession, my dog is only happy when left alone because I leave Fox News on...she knows if she hears it that I must be somewhere around! Can't leave her alone with the Travel Channel or CNN...she knows I never listen to those!

Also, my grandson's first words he learned to read, at age 3+ were "Bush/Cheney" because he had seen my yard signs and stickers on my car. LOL! He KNOWS that the President is a "good guy."

Now, I am back to the terrorism theory again after reading the press conference report. I imagine that there is a major threat (WMD, teams of snipers, whatever) and they cannot announce it because it will set off a panic which will cost lots of lives.

HOWEVER, if we are calm and smart we can be prepared. This means stocking up on food, water, medicines, and firearms. Make yourself a safe room like the Israelis do (duct tape and plastic to seal the windows readily available). Get battery powered radios and get flashlights. Colder clime people should stock up on firewood.

We may have to be quarantined, or we may have to survive without regular food supplies, until the situation is under control.

You know, Cheney spoke earlier this year and intimated that we would take hits on American soil. He isn't one to exaggerrate, so I believed him.

If you don't need the food, eat it next summer, and look at it as an additional way to help the economy!

Howlin, laundry is running while I type. Toilets have bleach in them. Dishwasher will run in a minute. All I have to do is run the sweeper during Fox's commercials, and I will be set! HA!
