I can't say no, but I don't think so.

I suspect he's saying they got and understood the message, whatever it was, that they left at the bus scene.

I also expect the reason the shooter hit in the early AM is that he/they have demanded that Moose lets them know he found the message in the 12N news conference. By hitting in the early morning, he gives them less time for forensics.

It's also possible that they are leaving some kind of tape or video and he is letting them know that they received it undamaged.

I agree. If LE does have a composite I cannot understand why they would not release it, unless they have been specifically warned by the sniper not to. I've heard nothing since the Home Depot shooting about any possible composite though. Reporters have not been asking about this either.

I've been extremely reluctant to conclude that this is a ME terrorist at work, but the signs are certainly growing that it is. Release of a composite that clearly showed a ME man would cause mass hysteria here. One fear I have is that the white van is packed with explosives and will be detonated when the sniper "allows himself to be caught," probably in a highly populated area, or at least in a situation where many LE personnel will be killed. He is setting up for the ultimate suicide bombing.

Well it seems many have numblegs syndrome

Others are still trying to get to the store but their eyes are still glaze over

Letitring's friend and freeper Wings is dressed like a chicken and laid an egg

As for Chief Moose .. most seem to think these shootings lean more towards a terrorist then some whacko nut case

It was the bus driver that was shoot and killed .. a 35 yr old man and father of two children

As for what the police are doing to stop these killings .. I have no idea .. they don't seen to want to talk about it

Oh, don't misunderstand me, I have sympathy for the Chief's circumstances and I agree that in Maryland he will and probably should remain the primary spokesperson. I just prefer the stronger, tougher attitude of the LEOs in Virginia.

Actually, it's not that bad of a target - if you break the pelvic girdle, the attacker isn't going to be able to stand, much less walk.

Of course, in any discussion of where to aim, one has to remember that one only fires in order to stop the threat. Civilians aren't authorized to "shoot to kill" although that might happen. Lethal force can only be used in self defense, at least in Michigan, until the threat is stopped.

Thanks for the info. I've never been to Maryland or Virginia so I'm obviously just speculating. Who knows, maybe they are monitoring traffic cams and just not making a big deal out of it since they haven't seen anything. Heck, we're all guessing at this point.

Not that i would ever defend the media, but military sources instructed the media (leaked) to spread that information to scare the sniper and perhaps thwart him

It also contained threats against children - threats that prompted Richmond-area school officials to cancel classes yesterday and again today.

Sunday night??? I heard on the radio, re: the school closures that on the web site of one of the schools, the Superintendent was advising the parents to watch their children closely. This was AT HOME.....It was on the news on one of those 24-hour news stations.

Fred - The perp lives in Wheaton...he is riding a bicycle...he is also riding buses that can "load a bike" on the back...the PERP has gotten paranoid and wants the comfort of home CLOSER to his shooting arena the Virgina forays is getting old...he wants to be CLOSE to home IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY in Wheaton...he KNOWS that the bus driver would eventually put 2 and 2 together...he killed the bus driver to prolong his reign of terror in HIS BACK YARD.

He knew the bus driver...he knew the bus route, he knew the bus driver would eventually remember seeing this "weird guy on his route"...or put together that a shooting is happening to CLOSE to a recent pick up or drop off...

The Sikh man that was killed here in AZ was my neighbor's brother. Very sad, they are such sweet people.

My neighbor has always worn a turban. Last time I saw him walking in the neighborhood, he was wearing a baseball cap.
