We disagree... He (Moose, local police, et al...) may be giving their best efforts... and I applaud that... but why are we using the J.V. team rather than the varsity if we feel winning the game is so important?
The varsity team, as you call them, FBI,DEA etc, are there and in numbers. They are simply not taking the podium. This is a state based criminal matter. It does not involve federal facilities or areas of federal involvement. It does cross state lines, which is why they are involved. This does not mean that they need to lead the investigation. If they did, they would likely not improve a damn thing. They probably would make it worse and less effective.
The FBI is not good at work that only the locals can do, but they are there and working the things they can do. They are providing federal resources, labs and evidence units. It will be a uniformed cop who nabs this guy in the end. Let the uniforms take the podium and the spotlight.
Whats the difference who says little or nothing to the reporters.
