I see what you mean! I am a retired/disabled/deceased Marine's kid; and this infuriates me too! I don't believe that sounds right for a poll on an ex-military page. It could be that people from a 'certain' website/websites have been messing with it.
I also know of some other ex-military guys in my family, including an ex-airman(my stepdad), who would be most interested in 'correcting' this poll if they could see it!
