Does not surprise me. The night of the shooting I heard one of the LE's saying that they wanted to talk to a couple of people who they thought might have seen something that was pertinent to this investigation.

Could it be that the two men taking into custody this morning were the people they wanted to talk to, but did not want to contact police because they knew they would be found to be here illegally.

Could be, but my own feeling is that, based on the report about the Mom who saw them parked in a school parking lot and then called 911 ... they were just in the wrong place, in the wrong van, at the wrong time.

Now they'll be heading south.
