How would they have left the note after the fact? I would assume the crime scene is still blocked off and plenty of police would have been on-site at the time they would have had to leave the note.

I'll bet the crime scene included the parking lot and the 2 acres of trees and the dirt road. If these Mexicans called the hotline and said we left a note in the Cabalyeros Room waste basket... why wouldn't that work? They could have put it there after the fact, and stopped at the pay phone on the way home.

I am so sick of the way these sniper attacks are being handled. It sounds as though Moose is claiming territorial rights over the case and fighting with Virginia authorities, saying that the perp has been trying to contact him, so he should be the lead guy. The tarot cards were probably placed there after fact by some attention seeking idiot. It's time for the feds to move in and take over.
But wait, they can't do that because we don't have a homeland security force, because Tommy Boy didn't want it funded.
